Coaches will report directly to the athletic director and will be responsible for the development and education of the student athlete.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Have great knowledge of the game and know how to teach the fundamentals.
Plan and execute practices and game preparation.
Coach in all games.
Build skills individually and as a team.
Help promote the culture of the school,Blazer Built.
Help the athletes grow on and off the field/court.
Run effective practices and team meetings to help inform the team and build confidence.
Help with Game Day Operations as needed.
Participate in campus programs and help manage the development and coordination of community service projects for team members.
Help to coordinate and plan team travel.
Minimum Requirements Enthusiastic commitment to teaching and leading a team.
Prior coaching or playing experience.
Driver's license.
Demonstrated experience of helping develop an exceptional student athlete.
Being positive and invested in the athlete's growth and development on and off the field.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Requirements:
Three years of prior coaching experience.
Enthusiastic commitment to teaching the game and having patience to go over the basics and help a team build from the ground up.
Experience working with students.
